feferi plus a headcanon

this one comes with a headcanon

Feferi was actually pretty lonely pre-sgrub. Her duty to keep her lusus in check was such a hassle that she had no time to go out on land to socialize with other trolls, while other seadwellers stayed away from her and her lusus. And on top of that, she probably lived pretty far out in the ocean to hide from other trolls who want to take her place as the troll empress. Eridan was safe from her lusus because he fed it, and while their morailship worked for a while, it didn’t last long because Feferi was the one who really needed a morail to keep her feelings and duty in check (she is a such a high blood, so her emotions are probably more likely to be unstable, and she also has huge responsibility). So she resorted to talking and befriending her fellow sea creatures, cuttlefishes and aquatic hoofbeasts.

So that’s whys she’s always so -EXCIT———ED when other trolls talk to her GLUBGLUBGLUB!!!
